Medical Director

Katherine Min, MD

I grew up in Seattle, attending Lake City Elementary and Whitman Junior High. Then, I went East to attend Boston University for her BA, MA in Biology then lived in New York City for a Gap year. I completed my medical schooling with George Washington University in Washington DC and then, residency in Medicine Pediatrics with University of Illinois. I returned to Seattle and have been working with Swedish (formerly Stevens Hospital) in Edmonds as a Hospitalist, acute medical care division.

I joined 6M Geriatrics Team as our mission to care for patients in a continuum in the various phases in one’s life was very important to me. The fragmentation of medical care, i.e. being cared for by so many doctors in all different settings or even in the same clinic did not make sense. Building relationship with my patients and families, providing a piece of mind that I will be there for you each step of your medical care in all healthcare settings is the WHY I joined 6M Geriatrics. And delivering the service that really matters to our patients and families is what matters to me as a physician.

In my spare time, I volunteer for my 2 daughters’ PTSA Cultural Fair, Girl Scouts, and Korean-American School. We enjoy adventure travels to places like Patagonia. This year, we have found great local hikes like Mailbox Peak and Snow Lake.
